Travel insurance companies can choose to exclude travel suppliers and destinations from coverage. The following are destination restrictions from HCC Medical Insurance Services as of March 16, 2010.
Belarus, Burma, Cote d’Ivoire, Cuba, Democratic Republic of Charles Taylor, North Korea, Sudan, Syria and Zimbabwe.
