Ageas announces Vauxhall/Chevrolet partnerships

Ageas (Insurance UK) has announced that it has launched a new insurance partnership with Vauxhall whereby the firm will provide fully branded motor insurance products to Vauxhalls British customers.

The deal, which is set for a five year term, will see Ageas assume responsibility for managing Vauxhalls customer sales, service administration and claims service and will create further growth at the insurers Stoke-on-Trent office.

Ageas Retail MD Andy Watson expressed the firms delight at the new partnership, adding that it underlined the firms commitment to collaborate with Vauxhall in providing customers with quality products and services.

Ageas has also announced the establishment of its new insurance partnership with Chevrolet.

Similarly to its Vauxhall deal, Ageas will provide Chevrolets customers in the UK with fully branded motor insurance products in a five year deal.

 

Car insurance prices up 12%, claims Confused.com

On average, drivers have experienced a 12.3% increase in comprehensive motor insurance prices since the same period last year. This equates to a £92 jump, according to Confused.com.

The largest annual price hikes have affected postcodes in the North of England.
